Quick overview

How roulette works

Players bet before the wheel stops. The winning pocket determines which number and outside bets are paid.

37

European wheel

Numbers 1–36 plus one green zero. Eighteen numbers are red and eighteen are black.

35:1

Straight-up payout

A successful one-number bet normally pays 35 to 1, plus return of the winning stake.

2.70%

Standard house edge

On ordinary European bets, the single zero produces a mathematical house advantage of about 2.70%.

Step by step

How to play roulette

Choose a table

Check the wheel type, minimum and maximum stake, payout table, special zero rules and whether the game is RNG or live dealer.

Select a chip value

Pick a stake that fits a pre-set entertainment budget. In the demo, credits have no monetary value.

Place one or more bets

Choose a single number or an outside category such as red, black, odd, even, low or high. Total exposure is the sum of every chip placed.

Spin and wait for settlement

No more bets are accepted after the betting window closes. The pocket selected by the ball determines the result.

Review the result—not a pattern

Each valid spin is independent. A streak does not make the opposite colour “due.”

Practical guidance

Roulette tips without false promises

Good roulette decisions manage cost and time; they do not predict an independent spin.

Prefer single-zero rules

All else equal, one zero creates a lower standard house edge than a wheel with zero and double zero.

Check the complete paytable

Multiplier and special-rule games can modify payouts. A familiar table layout does not guarantee identical mathematics.

Set a session limit first

Choose an amount and time you can afford for entertainment, then stop when either limit is reached.

Use demo play to learn controls

Practice helps with chip placement and settlement, but demo results cannot forecast real-money results.

Ignore “due” numbers

Previous red, black or number streaks do not change the probability of the next independent spin.

Avoid aggressive progressions

Martingale-style systems grow stakes rapidly and remain vulnerable to table limits, bankroll limits and long losing sequences.

No roulette strategy guarantees profit. Do not chase losses, borrow to play or increase stakes to recover a previous result. Use cooling-off or self-exclusion tools if gambling stops feeling controlled.

Roulette FAQ

Common questions

Can I play the roulette demo for free?

The page embeds an external European roulette demo intended for practice. The third-party provider controls its availability and demo conditions.

Is European roulette better than American roulette?

A standard European wheel has one zero, while American roulette normally adds double zero. The single-zero format has a lower standard house edge.

Why is red or black not exactly 50/50?

Because zero is green. On a European wheel, red and black each cover 18 of 37 pockets rather than half of all outcomes.

What happens when zero wins?

Straight and other inside bets containing zero can win. Ordinary red/black, odd/even and low/high bets lose unless the table explicitly uses a special rule such as La Partage or En Prison.

Can the Martingale system beat roulette?

No. Doubling after losses does not change the probability or house edge and can create very large stakes before a win, while bankroll and table limits prevent indefinite doubling.

Are roulette outcomes independent?

In a properly functioning game, each spin is independent. Past results can be displayed for information, but they do not make a number or colour due.

Can I play roulette on mobile?

Many browser and provider games support mobile devices. Exact Pinco titles, limits and live tables depend on location, device and the current catalogue.

Is the embedded demo an official Pinco game?

No. It is an external third-party demo and is not connected to Pinco through this page. Use the Pinco interface to check current real-money game availability and terms.
